Annsy Vanoukia was born in Martinique, October 9th 1985, an island in the Caribbean, Department of France.  As a young child he showed interest in music, playing the guitar at age 5, and learning to play the piano on his own initiative.  Receiving lessons from one of the most famous piano teachers on the island, he started playing for the youth choir of his home church at 11 years old.  This opportunity led him to be the Minister of Music for a 1000 member congregation.  Playing for local groups while developing his skills, Annsy pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in mathematics graduating in 2004.  He then went on to pursue another degree in computer science.  After 2 years, Annsy changed majors and decided to start a music career as a touring artist.

While on tour in Europe, Annsy was the pianist for the group “Symbiose” in 2005. He then made connection with major gospel artists in France. He played and worked with many artists such as Piero Battery, Max Zita, New Generation Gospel, and many others artists while he was in Paris. He then received the opportunity to attend Oakwood University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Theory and Composition.
